Project Aura collaborates in Leonardo Program IBB2

The realisation of integrative vocational trainings for people with disabilities in the social sector poses new challenges for all involved persons. Seven partners from five European countries are working together to establish an innovative mentoring model in order to inte¬grate alumni of an inclusive vocational training in the open labour market and keep them a long term. The basic idea thereby is to involve not only the people with disabilities, but also their employers as well as their colleagues.

For that reason existing mentoring models for people with disabilities have to be adopted and modified for non traditional working fields. Thereupon a curriculum for a mentor training cour-se will be established and proved during a test run. Subsequently the results and deliver¬ables will be edited by developing training materials and guidelines for implementation of the model in the partner countries.

The realisation of integrative vocational trainings for people with disabilities in the social sector poses new challenges for all involved persons. In the framework of IBB2 an innovative mentoring model shall be established in order to enhance alumni of an inclusive vocational training in the phase of their career entry. The basic idea thereby is to involve not only the people with disabilities, but also their employers as well as their colleages. Implementing integrative teams means a higher level of diversity and therefore new development potentialities in the working context.
